Hello from a cold Montevideo. We have only been here for one night, but that was just about enough to see most of the main sites. It seems as though the whole of Uruguay is in somewhat of a timewarp - horse-drawn carts still mix about with the traffic taking goods here and there, they seem to cope extremely well with the traffic. Hello from Uruguay!Today we added another country stamp to our passports and got the ferry across the Rio de la Plata to Colonia del Sacramento.The difference to BA is amazing, the air is clearer, it is so peaceful and the old colonial buildings are beautiful!
