The trip from Ko Phanghan to Ko Phi Phi was a bit of a nightmare, again! We left Ko Phanghan at 7 on the Fri morning and we were suppose to get into Phi Phi around 8 that night. Well we are know onto our 2nd Island and it is pretty different to Ko Samui. We arrived on the Fri afternoon pretty tired so all we did was take a walk along the beach and sleep. On the 24/1/07 we went on a safari tour round Ko Samui and it was the best day we have had on this trip so far. We were picked up from our beach front bungalow at 9.30 and taken to some rock formations on the beach front. Not the most exciting of starts but the day got so much better from then on. We left Bangkok on 19/01/07 and headed south, by train, to an island called Koh Samui. The train left Bangkok at 7.30 on the Fri night and did not get into our station until 10 am on Saturday. During our 5 days in Bangkok Peter and I visited the Grand Palace, The Reclining Buddha and went on a tour to see the bridge over the river Kwai.
