I woke up this morning to the smell of breakfast .. Ahahah ... Must be my birthday! Yes sir, that's it, and Grant promised that today would all be for me; and it has been. I had breakfast (made by my hubby), spent about an hour answering all the emails coming my way with birthday wishes, played some cards, read my book, had lunch, then went for a glorious 90 minute massage (my b-day present), came home to more relaxation, then down to Wyndham's 10th anniversary ...

This was a good day. Woke up this morning to a beautiful sunny day so after breakfast we decided to do what most people in this town like to do; we hit the beach. Now this is what holidays are all about! We picked up a couple of boogie boards and spent 2 hours playing in the waves, just like we were kids again. It was great fun! We left the Sunshine Coast today and headed south to the Gold Coast. Once again I love these Aussie names, like Woogoompah, Coobabah, Worongary, Mudgeeraba and finally Coolangatta, where we will be spending the next 5 days. It looks like this is the place where every thing is happening. The Gold Coast has some of the finest beaches in Aussie and is surrounded by rainforests and mountains. People come here to surf, play beach volleyball, car race, fly kites, bik...

We're not big fans of zoos but I must admit that we were glad we didn't miss this one. The Australia Zoo, " home of the crocodile hunter" - Steve Irwin The people that run this zoo are passionate about their work and the care that the animals receive shows at every turn.
