Ok, so I'm not really in S. Korea (yet)... I will board my flight tomorrow. So why South Korea, you ask? I am moving to Osan, South Korea to teach English for the Osan ESL English Academy. Its a very long story that I would love to share but only if you have a Venti Starbucks and some time to waste. (I can get pretty long winded!) I have tried some different things since I graduated from college two years ago, but nothing has really sparked my interest, or worked out the way I had hoped. However, I've had some absolutley amazing, life-altering experiences! Just to name a few, I went to Nepal in August 2005 doing missions, spent a week in New Orleans doing disaster relief, and I just came home from another missions experience in China. I praise God for those times, and the ways He refined and taught me. I believe those times, both difficult and enjoyable, have prepared me for my next step. The opportunity to teach in S.Korea came up very suddenly, but oddly, I've been delayed till now. I will live and work in Osan for a year. I am very anxious and excited about this new chapter in my life! I ask that you share with me ways I can pray for you, and also that you would remember me. Some specific prayer points are safe travels, a smooth transition to Korean lifestyle, and a safe covering over friends and family who will not be with me. Blessings to all of you!
