Sorted our last few days in Hong Kong with the last few things on our list (yeah we managed all that was on it!!), this was Stanley Market, Space Museum, Shek-O beach, Aberdeen for the floating markets.

Stanley market is apparently very famous. It was nice to walk round n see all the hand made goods of Hong Kong, mixed in with the latest gadgets, toys n mobile phones! But you could buy everything at this place - from shoes n flip flops to fruit veg, flowers to Nintendo wiis! Not forgetting the very very very cheap pants n bras to stock up on!! The weather let us down a bit here plus been shattered from all the walking from the previous day saw this as not much of a high point as we thought!

The space musuem…..well Mark you would have loved it. It was good, we sat in a theatre n watched some random yet alrite short film on space n stuff!! We also got to go on the Star Ferry to get us across to Kowloon to which was like 14p to get us across the sea haha love the cheapness!!

Shek-O beach - well we got there n thought pants, as if we waisted all our other days on the other "beaches" …..this one was spot on! Real sand, clear n clean water, food places all around this cute lil bay, plus where else did we get to see 7 lifeguards, cacking their pants over a snake that crawled out from under there feet, then proceed to kill it with their flip flops!! Mint!! Best beach/bay out of the lot! Even brought a Frisbee!!

Aberdeen - welcome to the Blackpool of Hong Kong!! What a dier place to be in!! the people were weird, the smell was weird, the look was rank!! Then we spotted the famous Jumbo floating market - well we saw it then jumped back on the bus n headed back to some normality!!! Yep - our fist proper let down of the travels!! But oh well, we did move on!!! Oh yes we did!! After our abysmal day at the Market!! We went back to see our friend Martin at the phone/camera/laptop shop near the hostel!! We had been eyeing up a laptop ever since we worked out would spend just over £400 in the year each on internet cafes just on uploading! So we thought…..we looked…..we chatted….we played….in end only parted with £200 on a brand spanking new laptop - built in webcam, built in wireless, built in microphone……the lot!!! What a bobby dazzler!!!moh we were soooooooooooo pleased for ourselves!! Lol!! Its mint too can I jus add!!!
