I wake early. Which is annoying when you know there is a full day with no rest ahead! I can sleep well in busses or cars, but not planes or airports! We get ready to leave then head down for breakfast, which is just being set up. We go outside and our taxi is waiting and off we go. It's less than 10 minutes and costs €16 euros. At least easier than walking! We get checked it. It takes a little while - it seems something to do with our visas. But in the end there is no problem. We ask about changing our tickets, but have no luck so head through customs and security. We have to catch a little train/monorail out to our gate which is quite interesting. The flight is 5 hours 20 min, plus the wait on the Tarmac. It's a nice flight. There isn't vegetarian meal for us, but we can eat the vegetables from around the beef. In Abu dhabi we have to go through security again and then a long walk to the next gate. Plus a 6 hour wait. Malcolm is able to get some forms printed for free in the business lounge so that was very nice. Eventually the hours pass and we board the next plane.
