Sunday 23rd August

We wake up late. But manage to gave breakfast and get into Westminster by 10:30. Kahli and Trevor are not far behind us and we head off to Buckingham palace to see the changing of the guards. It looks like quite a bit of rigmarole! They are escorted by police. It starts raining as we head back to Westminster. We get lunch and eat it in the subway out of the rain. We check out the sites. The rain eases and the sun comes out again. We walk across the bridge and along the river. We catch a bus toward London tower. It's impressive. Unfortunately London bridge is very plain and boring. We are not far from St. Paul's cathedral. We get there in time for an organ recital. It's very impressive! It's amazing! We don't stay for long and walk down the strand back to Westminster Abby and attend the evening service which is lovely. Especially with the sun shining in the back windows. Only a little bit is set aside for services. But at least we see a little! We catch the tube and then head our separate ways. We eat our remaining food for dinner and ready for bed.
