Monday 30th We arrive in Cusco just after 7am feeling pretty tired and hungry. We wait in the terminal for our transfer bus to arrive. Sunday We have to leave at 8, but we wake well before the alarm. I slept well but my headache is pounding! I take water and chew on some coco leaves (used for altitude and other things) which helps a little. I have no paracetamol with me unfortunately and I don't want to take voltaren. Saturday We had to arise early, eat breakfast at 6am and leave by 6:45 to travel out to a canyon about 2hrs away to view condors (birds) and walk around canyon face. Friday We are allowed to sleep in which is lovely after the long journey. We have breakfast which is included, but the bread today is by far my favourite. More dense and filling. Today we start a loop trip going up into the mountains and to acclimatise for the Macho Picchu. The area has a lot of mountains and some volcanos and it's a beautiful day for viewing them.
