We plan to leave at 10:45 by bus so we get the hostel to arrange a taxi to the station. It costs more than the secure taxi to the hostel.
We see if we can find a cheaper bus, but end up going with our original plan coz it's leaving at the right time.
The bus ride is uneventful once we are on the bus: there are always some nerves about getting on the right bus! I get quite motion sick and it takes me awhile to adjust once we are off. It's hot and we have over 2km to walk with 10kg bags! The historico centre is really lovely. We walk past a grocery store and stop at the bank to get money out. Once checked in we go looking for food, both groceries it vege restaurant. We go on a bit of a food hunt. Eventually we settle on some groceries and stop at a restaurant that had clearly marked vege and vegan options after another vegetarian restaurant with good reviews is shut. The food and drink is good. Bed is welcome.
