I wake early and can't go back to sleep on the hard benches. I watch some shows on the tablet to pass the time till it's more reasonable to get up. We are in china! There are a lot of tunnels we go through. Breakfast is fine, but I discover my oiled feta and olives are not seal proof and there is a messy oil mess to clean. The scenery is lovely and hilly. Green. We arrive at Beijing station a little early and get a group picture once off. It's not as crazy as I had imagined. Most signs seem to have English as well. It's not a long walk to the hotel but it's hot. Traffic seems bad like in Ulaanbattar. It takes a long time to cross the roads as they are so wide and the cars get impatient and go anyway. We shower and get refreshed at the hotel then get shown the bank and supermarket. We take a long time in the supermarket, but eventually head back to the hotel and have a quiet afternoon. The Truman show and the blind side are on. So many sites seems to blocked it's disconcerting. No google, viber, line or Facebook. If you can figure a search engine you are ok. It's just finding it. Dinner and bed. A lovely end to the day.
