Saturday 30th May

A day of rest. We listen to the listen to the lesson and a sermon then go for a walk along the beach. It is very beautiful here. We stop overlooking the point: the water is gorgeous blue green. Also along the beach front where every 3rd vender is selling jewellery, drinks/food, sarongs with rio on them, or fresh boiled corn with seasonings. We watch ppl play variations if beach volley ball- no hands. And they are good. On the beach every few meters there are tents with what looks like drinks and chairs for hire, as well as a beach shower powered by generator at request. We are very hungry when we return and settle for an early dinner instead of lunch. We relax on the deck. There are lots of ppl playing a game with small kites and a police helicopter that keeps flying by with men looking out with guns. I'm discovering bites all over my body, but can't figure where they are from. Malcolm seems exempt and we are sharing the bed and our clothes where washed at the same place last.
