Hey everyone!

Told you we would write again soon (in succession of the other message even!). Arrived here in KL on Thursday, had 3 night here too. It was a far more successful trip than to Penang, no injuries. and we had a really nice taxi driver named Jay who practically gave us a guided tour of the city whilst driving us to our hostel.

Our first day was spent going up the Petronas towers (pictured). We had to get up really earily and be at the ticket office before 8.30am! We arrived at 8.00am and the queue was HUGE...didnt get our tickets until 9.30am. Its extremely popular with tourists (mainly because its free we reckon), and it has some brilliant views from the bridge across. We also went to a place called Bintang Walk, which has got lots of shopping plazas and bistro type shops - plus more crazy rain of course!

On the second day we went to the KL tower, which is a 360 degree viewing deck at 290metres, you get to see more of the city from it. We also got a complementary visit to an animal park! To get to the tower we had to trek through a forest - possibly the most steps we have ever seen. Saw wild monkeys and got bitten to pieces by mozzies. We also went to the central market which sells lots of local crafts - had a fish spa...where they nibble off your dead skin (was a bit odd!), and to Pentaling street where they sell lots of knock-offs (not our sort of thing!).

Anyway, write again in Singapore - off to get the bus now!!!
