Hello Again!

This blog will not be accompanied by a photo today because my iphone app is not available. I have had some connectivity problems since arriving in Spain. My iphone is not working with my international sim nor is it picking up wifi like it is supposed to.

Besides all that, I am in San Sebastian, Spain! It is extremely beautiful here, I can not imagine that it would get old to anyone. We are staying in parte vieja, the old part of the city which is literally 2 blocks from the beach and right in the heart of the city. Our hostel is really nice and we have made friends with the guy who runs the hostel. We being Sarah from Reno and her friend Melody from home. Yesterday we spent the day on the beach lying in the sun, playing frisbee and getting thrown in the water! The clouds and wind come out of nowhere and can be a bit chilly so you never know when it will be good beach weather. This morning was overcast but by 5 it cleared up.

Today we just lounged in the hostel and did a little grocery shopping. I think tomorrow we will take a hike to the sculpture garden and to the abandon amusement park, assuming the weather allows it. The sporratic rain is quite interesting but can put a dent in your plans quickly!

I will be staying here in San Sebastian until this friday then i will venture to Madrid to start the Gruppo Vaughn program at Valdelavilla, Spain to teach english to spainish businessmen and women. I am looking forward to the program, it will be a very different experience than the laid back party atmosphere of San Sebastian. There is a bar at every other door! Our hostel is right above a bar and is very loud at night, so i have probably slept a total of 8 hours since i arrived on the 29th. I think I am still on Alaska time, which is 10 hours behind Spain!

I will blog again when i get to another internet cafe, and I will try to upload pictures at that time.

Mom, Dad, Omri...I miss you!
