We have just left milky bay in koh phangan it was pure paradise everyone was so laid back the surroundings were beautiful, we didnt do much as we are going back for the full moon party at the end of the month, more on that when it comes around. It was nice to stay in luxury after the last accomodation although i wasnt too happy when i cockroach came and sat next to me on the toilet, it waas like animal farm lizards, dogs, cockraches (well only one) and the biggest beetle you ever saw sunbathing on our terrace! to say im a wuss when it comes to bugs i think ive been quite composed (heiki might beg to differ).
We were sad to leave but we had to move on to ko samui which is equally as gorgeous apart from this rain cloud that keeps appearing! there is a lot more going on and you do get pestered a bit but thats how the thais make there money you just have to go with it.
Monday 19th november
today we went to safari park (if you could callit that) as we drove through on our 4x4 the elephants wer all stood around as if it was normal, thernot as big as imagined. We first went to see the elephant show i felt a bit sorry for them they looked so sad, then there was a monkey throwing coconuts out of a tree and finally the corcodile show i think they guys doing the show were just as nervous as the audience he was very reluctant to putting his head in the crocs mouth well wouldnt you?? i dont think theyve figured out how to train a croc yet its just pot look on the day and judging by the big bandage roung one of the trainers ankle the previous day hadnt been a good one.
Soon after we set off on our elephant ride i was petrified this elephant didnt seem to want to go the same way as everyone else but as the trainer who was on it with us informed he needed poo poo, after that we were fine.
on leaving the safari park we went to namuang waterfall for a swim which was really good. Then on to a few other places which when we get our camera sorted we can show you the pictures.
