Well what a start we leave bangkok (gladley) We both just wanted to walk around with t shirts on saying NO tuk tuk No orange juice NO taxi and definatly NO ping pong show! We did love the place but 3 days def enough! so we set off on our 12 hour coach journey to champon and the a 2 hour ferry to ko tao, ko toa looks amazing in pictures but what we didnt realise was that it was monsoon season so it rained and rained for 4 days non stop, our transfer from the ferry was on the back of a truck so yes we were bloody wet! uOur accomodation to say the least was appauling with dust everywhere , random stains on the walls, no hot water and a toilet that you have to pour water down to flush. But never the less we were there to do diving and thats about all we did, as it had rained so much the roads were flooded so we couldnt walk any where!
The highlight of the trip besides the diving which was fantastic, had to be the bowling alley, you dont wear any shoes at all there is a guy at the bottom of the lane that catches your ball and puts the pins back up you proberbly had to be there but t was hilarious!
So we have now moved on to ko phangan the weather is a bit better so we are starting to get a bit of a tan, our accomodation is a big step up from the last, with air con flowers on the bed hot water and most importantly a flushing toilet! it is set just on the beach and the sand is pure white thus its name milk bay, we are just getting our bearings at the mo so we will keep you all posted.
