Hey Everyone.

Thought it was about time to update you all again!! well, after another night out with our Fraser lovelies we said goodbye to Frans & Maartje (they are going home today :( ) and the next day we headed to Brisbane!! Early morning bus, we arrived in Brisbane sometime in the early afternoon and spent a hellish 2 hours wandering around brisbane looking for our hostel!! It was awful, hot, sweaty, we were carrying our bags, NOT GOOD!! EVENTUALLY found our hostel with the help of a lvoely american man, right back in the same spot we started off!! Oh well, I guess we got there eventually!! After all this stress we decided the best thing to do would be head to the pub, naturally. So by 4.00pm we were settled with a pint looking over Brisbane. We met the 2 guys from our room, Brad & Chris, and their friend Dan. And we had a pretty good night!! we decided to head in to the valley by taxi, which is where we all got lost!! Me and Dan, abbandoned in Brisbane, whilst sarah & chris & Brad were texting us from some unknown club!! After we finally found it I got turned away because of my bloody flip flops!! So we decided to buy a pizza, but then I decided I was not hungry, and so we handed it out to some people sleeping on the streets. We headed back to our hostel which is when I realised I had lost my key earlier!! but decided not to worry as brad, sarah & chris promised me we would not get seperated!! HoHo. I waited in the corridor and was finally let in by chris a few hours later!! We all woke up at about 9 in the morning (still drunk) and had a hilarious discussion for about 1 hour about the nights events!! We then all went back to sleep until 2 in the afternoon and then me and sarah went to the botanical gardens. Upo our return to the hostel we went to the pub again, and had a night out with Brad and Gareth from Fraser island!! who we discovered in the bar at the hostel. We met with all of Brads irish friends from his fraser island trip, who we had actually already met and shared a taxi with in Noosa!! Its definately right what they say about the world getting smaller the further you travel!! I won us 5 free drinks with my amazing throwing skills, and sarah discovered tequila shots!!

Up early the next day we headed back to the wonderful Byron Bay and the fabulous Arts Factory!! We headed straight in to Byron for the sunday markets, a massive Hippy market which was very cool, lots of jewelry was purchased!! as ususal!! later on we met Olive and Lousie for a bit of a night out, however it all finished early as it was pretty quiet in Bryon. So we went back to the Arts and talked to Dayton and Owen for a bit and then went to bed. The next day was supposed to be beach day, but it was raining so we met Louise & Olive in a cafe & then went shopping and back to arts to cook some tea and relax for the afternoon. We went to the cinema in the arts, which is the best cinema ever!! you sit on these really coumfy chairs on the ground with loads of pillows etc.... and yes, its wonderful.

The next day me and sarah took Jim's alternative tour to Nimbin. The only place in OZ where the police are effectively allowed to ignore drug taking / selling. Thus meaning there are lots of cafes selling special cookies / cakes etc... We had a funny day, a really good trip, with a stop in to one of Jim's friends houses Paul. We were told ''Paul is likely to be stoned, as he has been every day for the past 29 years of his life'' quite a character!! Living in what he calls his ''jungle'' 80 acres of his own plantation, which is actually quite incredible!! we ate watermelon and talked about elements and atoms, as you do!! That night me and sarah went and ate Pizza on the beach and then went to bed. No big nights out fr us in Byron this time round!!

Yesterday we got up early and checked out, then spend a day in the Arts just writing journals and post cards and what not. It was a nice relaxing day. Then we got on the bus for our overnight trip to Sydney where we are now. We are here for Christmas and New Year and then who knows where we will go.
