Howdy!

Just got back from a nice evening meal on the Marina Bay (yes a full meal!). Lights on all the building are stunning and there's quite a party atmosphere with lots of people out eating and drinking in families and with friends. We saw where the F1 track goes; there's still tyre marks on the road!!

Had a somewhat frustrating day having trekked out all the way across Singapore island by train to buy train tickets to Malaysia. Unfortunately after an hours travelling we got there to be told there was none left as there is an Indian festival on at the moment as well as CNY. Totally gutted! Felt like we'd wasted the day a bit. Came back and crashed for a nap then went out for the evening which was a much better end to the day.

So… Tomorrow we're getting a coach to KL (Kuala Lumpor) for our posh(ish) hotel! Hopefully wifi should be better so more pictures to follow. Off to bed to rest sore feet and to write a few postcards! Night all!!
