Hiiiiiiiiii! I'm now writing from Buzios - a few hours north of Rio city but still in the Rio de Janeiro state. It's a lovely little town - very touristy, and kidna reminds me of Broadbeach or the Mount: lots of beaches (8 near us), nice restaurants (although too expensive for us to dine at lol), bars, shops etc, and a really nice feel to it! kia ora guys! Have been in Rio for a couple of days now and things are picking up! Had a bit of a rocky start with a bit of shock from seeing all the poverty as we were driving in, then being kicked out of our taxi cause the cab driver couldn't find our hostel.
