A few days in squeeky clean Singapore. We got the bus down from KL which was only 5 hours and cost just 8pounds for a coach that was more like a limo than a bus! Fully air con with eats the size of armchairs, plasma tvs and a meal to boot - it really is another world out here. Plenty of shops which we're trying to stear clear of and yet more evidence of our great nation which seems to have ruled most countries we\'ve visited at some point! Did you know Singapore was chosen as a sea port by Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles (this Brit gets everywhere is Asia) and until then was an unknown fishing town? How interesting! Anyway will write more when we have explored more, hopefully won't be arrested for any jay-walking - which we are already very guilty of!
