today was amazing!!!!!!!!! started very early (8am) and had a private car to take us to see the bridge over river kwai!!! we wanted to book a tour but we wanted to do tiger temples and river kwai in a day so guy gave us a private tour. he told us costs for tiger temples was included but it wasnt! sick of con artists in this country but we still paid less than some tours! anyway went to visit the mass graves of the soldiers who lost their lives in thailnd during the 2nd workld war and today is anzac day so there were alot of australians and new zealanders there and there wasa big ceremony! we then went to the bridge over the river kwai where you can walk across and stuff. ity is mighty dodgy! trip and you are a gonner!!! had lunch and 'acquired' a river kwai glass that the restaurant provided with lunch! we then went to the tiger temples!! i was really worried it was going to be drugged tigers but it wasnt. its a buddist monestary that took in cubs from poachers and looked after the tigers. they are now rebuilding the tigers area so that they can introduce the existing tigers cubs and they ahve them back to the wild in a bature reserve near by! it was really cool! and the tigers were amazing!!!! they are very used to human contact as have been reared by monks from birth but it was still dangerous! they were beautiful!we were allows near the one resting in the sun but not the ones playing in water! keepers took those photos for me! it was soooooooo cool!!!!! got myself a tiger temple t shirt ha ha!!!
