Eurgh,
So today we weren't feeling to good.
After an awesome night partying till the hours with many Germans we finally collapsed into bed at around 6.00am.
Now this wouldn't have been too bad apart from....
We had to be up at 9.00am for a tour of Dachau - a concentration camp.
Needless to say it was not easy to wake up.
Once we were on the tour though it was very interesting. I always feel weird when trying to describe an experience a concentration camp, as in no way was it a "good day out" but it really is something you shouldn't miss.
Dachau was the first ever concentration camp built, and was the camp that all others were modelled on.
Walking inti a gas chamber is not something you will forget, it has such an eerie feel that you can't stand in for too long.
Afterwards we decided to lift our sports slightly and went to a beer hall. When in Munich it's a must.
We went to the englischergarten park, where we saw many naked Germans - they all live to sunbathe in the nude here.
In the park there is a large river running through which creates many waterfalls, and in the part where two sections if the river meet, a large wave is formed.
In England this would be probably be cornered off as a safety precaution, but alas since we were on German soil they all decided to practise their surfing skills there.
If you weren't an experienced surfer then this wasn't the place for you. One fall against the river bank concrete sides and you were done for. It was extremely great to watch though!
Bag packing time now. Boo! then we start our Italian adventure with Venice in the morning.
