After a scenic train ride from Hue to Da Nang we then had a short drive up the cost to Hoi An, Vietnam's tailor central! Pretty much every shop in Hoi An is either a tailor or a restaurant! Once checked in we headed out into the town itself. A quick bite for lunch to provide sustenance for the shopping spree ahead and it was off to the first tailors! After checking out 3/4 we started to commit. Between us we bought 3 suits, 9 shirts, 1 top, 3 dresses, 1 pair of jeans, some boardies and a coat! All tailor made and hopefully will still fit when we get back!
We also found the best Vietnamese Spring Rolls ever at a very friendly restaurant!
Having found only 1 bar that was promising the rugby world cup final our decision as the where to be at 2am that Sunday morning was made easy! We arrived about 1am expecting the place to be bulging with English but found very few! None of whom seemed particularly interested in the Rugby! There was an Irish couple on their honeymoon and they joined us to watch the match albeit with French commentary! Unfortunately the rugby didn't quite match up to our hopes!
