Brief summary of the rest of Namibia as we don'e have much time left! nd rubbish key board sorry! Quad biking in the dunes of thew Namib-Naukluft desert was awesome fun, I'm glad Andrew had wanted to do it or I probably wouldn't have bothered and would have missed out. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by dunes that we would have been totally lost in without our guides! Andrew was in the mad group with Kiwi Mark, I think they were full throttle all the way on really steep dunes that they tried not to slide down! The rest of our truck goup were in the same group and we all turned into speed freaks as well so kept getting told off by our guide for racing etc! aAll good fun nd got to know everyobne better. Sandbparding the next day was also good fun, but hard work climbing up the dunes each time! Stnding up was similar to snowboarding but harder to turn, lie down was pretty fast... I clocked 74 km/h, Andrew 71 haha! We mved on to Spitzkoppe, a volcanic desert with large magma rocks for some bushcamping and awesome sunset! Then Etosha NP for first game viewing in the truck - we saw elephants rhinos, giraffe, kudo, springbok and sleeping lions. There was a floodlit waterhole at the campsite so saw lots there one evening. Beinig keen we got up at 5 one morning in the hope of spotiing the lions that we could here roaring but nothing! Last stop in Namibia was Windhoek, its capital... very boring! We're clearly not town people!
