Another day of sightseeing, there is so much to see and do, just hard getting around with crowds and traffic. Last night we went to the West End and watched Phantom of the Opera, pretty amazing it was a full house and it has been showing for 20+ years! We really enjoyed the performance and it prepares us for Broadway. We spent most of the morning at the Victoria & Albert Museum which was pretty amazing, I would say it is the best museum I have ever been in!...

We decided to go back to Westminster Abbey for a closer look, so did thousands of other tourist! We could not get a guided tour so we did the self guide thing. It is amazing inside and well worth closer inspection, there are so many Kings and Queens buried in the church as well as Charles Dickens, Winston Churchill etc. We then caught the tube to Notting Hill and went to the Portabella Markets, I would have to say they are the best markets I have ever been to! We did plenty of sightseeing today, got back on the city sightseeing bus, it has 4 or 5 different routes! Moving from one attraction to another takes time as the traffic is crazy, plenty of time to take photos. Our first stop was the harbor cruise which took us along the Thames, got some good pictures around Big Ben and London Eye. Left Portsmouth behind and travelled on to London, not a great start the bus was 1hour late, but we arrived safely and got settled by 3pm. Our accommodation is a suite in Bayswater, quite a nice area. Ventured into the city on a Tube, Sarah quite good at navigating the tube network, so in no time we were in the thick of things! We managed to get on a city sightseeing bus, although not possible in London to see all the sights in one day! So we will return tomorr...

Had a relaxing day today, although we had a few things to organise. We had to send another box of goodies home. We also had to drop the hire car back, so we now are stuck using public transport!
