Woke up pretty late today. I went down stairs for breakfast then came back to the room and chilled out and watched more Chinese tv. I checked out a 1.30pm and met the group. Lindsay and I wanted to look at a few of the stalls down the bottom of the mountain so we left a little bit early and walked down the mountain. Ruth also came with us.

We walked down the hill and looked at all the stalls but didn't buy anything. We were told by Lillian to wait for them at the gate but not to go through, so we sat and waited for quite a long time then the group finally came and joined us. We then went through the gate and caught a bus down the mountain, but this time Lillian told the driver to drive slow so it wasn't as fun as the drive up.

We then caught our private bus back to Guilian where we had to wait around for a few hours before getting our train to Shenzen. We got dropped off in the town centre. Lindsay and I didn't really want to go with the group so we stayed back a bit then started to walk in but unfortunately we caught up with them and Ruth ended up joining me and Lindsay for dinner at Paul's Steak House.

The food was actually pretty good plus they had a buffet so we could have a big dinner before our really long train trip to Shenzen. After dinner we walked down to the markets and did a bit of shopping, then stopped and had a beer before getting a cab back to the train station to meet the group.

We collected our bags from storage then went through to the station waiting room before boarding. We boarded the train and basically did what you do on a train and that was nothing.
