Mon 10/9 Not really much to report for today, not sure what was in the air last nite but neither of us could get to sleep, think we were still awake around 4am and it wasn't from lack of trying! Had lunch at our hostel once we checked out and then headed to get a local minibus to Kanchanaburi, cheaper and easiest option coz they go regularly so just have to turn up and they drop you off where ever you want once you get there! Fri 7/9 Managed to drag ourselves out of bed after about 4hrs sleep and still be down in plenty of time for our bus which was a good job coz it turned up 15 minutes early! Spent the whole of the journey from Siem Reap to the border trying to catch up on some sleep! On the bright side there was no hangover in sight! I think the lesson here is that sticking to vodka or beer is the way to go because no matter how cheap they are, cocktails = very bad hangover!lol. W...

Sun 2/9 Finally made our way to Siem Reap, pretty much took all day! Glad our hostel provided free pick-up coz it was mad with tuk tuk drivers and really muddy after the rain, flip flops were not the best choice in footwear this morning!lol. Wed 29/8 Left Chau Doc early in the morning to finish our Mekong Delta trip and head into Cambodia. We visited a floating village and got to see two of the fish farms followed by a visit to a minority village, it was dry when we visited but the houses are on stilts as the area tends to flood during rainy season. Tue 28/8 Started our two day Mekong Delta tour the day. Started with a 2 hour bus journey to Cai Be where we caught our boat and toured up the river through the floating market and then we stopped for a quick tea break and were shown beehives and a big python snake. When the guide was asked if it was dangerous or not he said 'no, i don't think so' needless to say only one guy had a shot of holding it.
