Tue 23/9 On the go by plenty of time today and grabbed breakfast and some snacks before our trip to the Cameron Highlands. We anticipated the pick-up coming early but were miffed that it arrived before we got a chance to sit and have our free coffee while we waited. Thu 20/9 So our taxi to take us to the boat was due at 6.20-6.30am. After so many turning up early we made sure we were sitting outside waiting at 6am, this is not one we wanted to miss! The boat journey back over to the mainland was a lot more enjoyable than the one we got over! We sat outside and even managed to get a bit of sleep! Mon 17/9 Pick-ups love being early in Asia! We were meant to be picked up for our tour at 9am but they turned up 20 minutes early! We were up so thats a start! First they gave us breakfast, Cam was happy coz he got seconds! We got to hold and feed a baby monkey which was sooooo cute! Fri 14/9 So the boat finally arrived at 6:30am and we made our way to Ko Pha-ngan! It must have been the most uncomfortable few hours trying to get some sleep on your typical plastic boat seats! Only plus side was the trip flew past and after walking to our hostel we arrived about 12.30! After 23 hours travelling we were surprisingly awake! Wed 12/9 Today really is up there with some of the best experiences we have had! First read about the tiger temple in lonely planet before we arrived and was a bit unsure if we should go as there is a lot of controversy surrounding the place.
