Fri 6/4/12
All fresh and rested we have an early start for our Zambia-Malawi border crossing and head for Kande Beach which is right on Lake Malawi. Not so good for our tents which ended up full of sand! :(
On the way we stopped in the capital Lilongwe. Because it was Good Friday we had to get our money changed at the Black Market. It consisted of going behind our truck and doing deals with the locals. It was quite an experience but we got better rates which was a bonus. Just glad our guide was there to over see it all.
Our cook gave us money to go buy lunch today instead of cooking which was a nice change to all the salad and sandwiches we have been eating.
We all went to the bar after dinner which ended up being a great night as our group was the only ones there. The barman kept the bar open late for us then we went down to the beach to carry on our party. Ended up being another late night.

Sat 7/4/12
Had a nice relaxing day, only got up at 11am. Went for a walk along the beach. Cam joined the game of football in the afternoon. Just made the most of the weather and views. After dinner had a few drinks and went to bed.
