Kelly and I wandered into town with the intention of hiring a scooter. Only when we arrived at the scooter place we found that we had forgotten to bring our licenses. So we walked all the way back to the hostel and back into town. We hired a scooter and made out way across the island to the beach side. We scooted all the way down and around the island, stopping at Coronna Beach for a beer, swim and snorkel. It was beautiful. We ten continued on our way only to be stopped by a police officer who informed us that we were going the wrong way down a one way street (which we then realized we had been doing for about an hour). We turned around and found our way to the correct street and rode the scooter all the way back into town. We headed back to the hostel for a quiet afternoon and ventured out for dinner at a little local family run restaurant where we had deep fried taco-looking thugs with salad. Spent the evening watching criminal minds and relaxing.
