Final tasks completed, we made a bee line for Terminal 4 and the BA flight to Cape Town. We joined the end of a 22 strong queue of non revenue passengers. Most of us were disappointed. After hurrid goodbye's to Sue's folks, we tore off to T1. We were rewarded with two seats in row 75... yes 75, of a packed SAA 747. Necks crooked over to the right, we took in our final view of England for some time - the amber speckled map below soon gave way to charcoal cloud cover as we banked left and south towards Africa.
