Sorry, I couldn't find a photo of the Merlion that Singapore is famous for ! The other 5 nights we spent in Singapore, one of my most favourite cities in the world, where I have travelled to many times as a stopover point on my way to & from Australia, England etc. It is such a clean city, which is no surprise when they have so many 'rules' which must be followed to avoid getting fined eg: No Chewing Gum ! We took alot of day tours from Singapore too, including a trip to Jahore Bahru in Malaysia where we visited a pewter factory and also a silk factory among other places. A fabulous place to visit in Singapore is Sentosa Island where there are many activites including a monorail trip over the park and beach resorts, water theme parks, cinemas, etc. Singapore is a great city for shopping, eating, drinking Tiger Beer (which I didn't do when I was 12 years old, but I do plenty of now!) and getting lovely massages.
