Last week was my first week with my new Grade 1 class, and I LOVE it. :D I teach them for Maths, Science, Spelling, Reading and Grammar which can sometimes be very challenging as their English is limited mainly to "Miss can I go to the bathroom", "Miss can I drink water" and "Miss can I play", but when they do understand something and get it all right it is very very rewarding.
