Time to retire the activity sandals that have been my constant companion on this adventure and many previously. It felt right to leave them in Bora Bora to enjoy retirement overlooking the bright blue seas.

farewell Tevas, you have done me well as we've travelled the world many times over together. Time to say goodbye, they've travelled every continent with me over the years, but are now tatty (and a bit whiffy) and will not be making the final journey home.

Hopefully they are going to enjoy retirement on an island in the South Pacific, and boy they've earnt their retirement!
