Another place that is very touristy but the 'old town' has a certain charm to it. The French influence is easy to see here with lots of cafes selling cakes and coffee.

We cycled (again) into the countryside where we were greeted by hoards of children shouting 'hello' and high-fiving us as we cycled past. Fantastic!!

A few kilometers from the town is a long sandy beach (if a little wind swept when we were there). Definitely worth considering for an alternative beach holiday.

Half a day was spent at My Son looking at the remains of the ancient kingdom of Champa. The Americans in all their wisdom decided to bomb the site during the Vietnam War so not a lot remains today.
