We only spent a week here which is a couple of weeks too short as there is so much to see.
Taz has not one but two breweries so naturally we had to visit both (for the record Cascade and Boag's) and make the most of the free beer tasting. Boag's Premium was my favourite (hint hint).
We spent a day at Port Arthur which was used as a prison between 1830 - 1877. According to the records a Saggers was imprisioned here! Never found out what they did though (that cost money).
The highlight, however, has to be the National Parks which have some of the best scenery I've ever seen. We manged only as few short walks but you can spend days and days wondering around by yourself as long as you have a tent to sleep in.
Before we left Taz we met up with an old Primary School teacher from Broadbridge Heath. All very strange as nobody really remembered each other (she never taught me but thinks she taught my brother) but she was kind enough to feed us for the night.
