Well, here it is, Friday is half over. I fly out out Monday morning. But before I go, Saturday is my mum's 60th birthday and we are having a party. Well! Heading back to USA - fly out July 28 :) Scott and I are going to ride the PCH. I am slightly excited right this moment because I got a confirmation on my booking for where we'll be staying when I land. It's at Long Beach, and the photo is of the beach, which is a massive one block walk from our place.

So I had a 14 hr layover in LA. I chose a hotel, and I must say, the photo gallery of the hotel rooms etc did not match the reality. And the promised continental breakfast consisted of nasty coffee, unidentifiable baked goods, and a bowl of apples. So I skipped it.
