My goodness you look well in your photo (8 months of travelling ) Good photos, but none of the Inca villages ???? or maybe you didn't take camera with you on trip!! Glad you are enjoying it all except the flight. You and Jan look really fit and well. Hi Alison, hope you enjoyed your trek. We are all well and the kidsa are driving me mad changing the costume ideas every 5 minutes. Cara I think wants to be Lady Penelope from thunder birds, the boys 50 cent, some american gangster!! I don't think any of the numerous kids here can believe there is not a halloween party this year...Will be off to Club La Santa on 15th Nov. was trying to get fit but failing miserably.think you'll be back 7 days after me yeeeck.... can't believe youre almost back with us!! we are all looking forward to seeing you. hope your feeling the same way. hi alison, had a nice night yesterday, went out for dinner with annmarie, laura and tracey spence as she is doing working around glasgow for the next week or so. Nice to catch up with her.

Re: hummingbirds - we have SO many here on Vancouver Island ... everyone puts out hummingbird feeders in the spring and they fight over the sugar water ... you should see them - they're tiny but can get really aggressive! I have a photo of about 30 fighting over one feeder.

weather has been better in october than it has the whole summer here, well its dry and sometimes sunny!! I have the furries on thursday nite which will be good, meeting laura at it!! Doreen is away to spain so we are having an early party for my birthday on saturday which wil be fun!!!

nothing much else doing though. will keep you uptodate with all the music you missed this year, quite a lot i must say!!! Ironically the best band so far come not too far away from where you are just now....CSS a brazilian band who flay funky indie with hints of electro!!! They played inveraray which just make it sound surreal!!!

It must be depressing now with a countdown and date to your return, it will be good to see you though!!

peru sounds amazing- try to stay out of way of those marmalade eating bears {they come from darkest peru so i am told}. halloween willnot be the same without your organisational skills - there is alweys next year however.
