I got home to Canada safely, and was hoping to read about Darjeeling ... update your blog when you get a sec so I can be sure your taxi showed up at the Hotel Swati. Mine was 45 minutes late and only appeared after repeated calls ... but I had more time for my hennaed hands to dry, so it worked out fine.

BTW, I had pizza and SALAD for my first meal at home. Yum.

So how's the rucksack, your nemesis? Still rummaging? Good luck with that ;) I still think you should have let me at it - I could have lightened your load for sure.

Looking forward to hearing about Darjeeling and Singapore. You were a wonderful roommate. Wouldn't have wanted to be attacked on Holi with anyone else ;)

Hi Alison, nice to see your blog and get up to date with all that is going on.  It is very boring and quiet here in contrast to where you are.  Weather has improved here now; it was almost hot yesterday.  I looked after the kids last night.  Cara is as wild as ever and the boys ate most of the ice cream.  Keep sending the news and photos.  We are very interested.  Love.

Went to Leeds today to my old office. saw some of my old work mates. came home and did some work. our house is progressing. go to pick tiles and kitchen this weekend. hope to get my internet working next week. cant believe how much you miss it! location location was on channel 4 last night. it was follow up to couple who bought house in Arrochar. They looked at andy Lane's house 3 years ago. just to let you know cairndow is now officially known as Loch Fyne. (well according to Channel 4). I suppose it does give them many miles to choose from. Tickets go on sale tomorrow for festival in Inveraray in September. not sure if I will make it. DALMALLY SHOW WEEKEND!!!! Can't believe organisers did not know that. tickets are on sale at Pier shop in Inveraray. Got to head to bed now but will put another message on this weekend. Alison. Ignore last message as I hit enter by mistake. Not used to computing since I have had no internet access for last 3 weeks. At Gerald & Caths tonight to see them and drop off some kippers. Can't believe you have been away for 3 weeks. hope volunteering is going okay. you will be great for the kids as you always are. Michael and I went home at the weekend for Ernie & Irene's ruby wedding night.They raised over £1,000 for charity. It was a great night. Stewart & Ann Marie were home too. Karen and Gill went to Westlife in Manchester. Lots of people asking for you. Spoke to Auntie Agnes last night and she was in good form. Brodie is keeping her well walked!! Keep in touch.
