Midlife gap year
Early start from Stellenbosch heading to the (almost) most southernly point of Africa - Cape Point and then the most southwesternly point Cape of Good Hope. Not as tacky as Lands End - it definitely benefits from being in the middle of a national park.
Lots of fynbos, wild animals and incredible views.
Journey to Hermanus was stunning following the R44 along the coast road. First sighting of whales.
