Well here I am! My permanent destination for the next 3 months!!

After getting up at the crack of dawn (320 am) in London and flying to the very confusing airport of Madrid, I met up with the 19 other brave iowa staters who are going to be in Caceres with me. We hung about in the airport for about 4 hours when our directors came and directed us to a bus, and we were onwards to Caceres! They said it would take 3 hours, but it took 4, but that actually felt like 20 years. Finally we reached our destination!!

My roommate Katie and I are living with a lovely and hilarious woman named Lola! The only problem is we have no idea what she is saying most of the time, but we do know she makes a mean potato tortilla, yum!! We have one other roommate names Mara who is from Kalamazo or something, and she speaks lovely spanish and has been a huge help. yay!!!

This has been a long and intseresting day to say the least, and tomorrow we are setting about the town!! Blog again tomorrow! Adios!
