Yesterday night we visited hong kongs equivalent of the red light district which they call soho. Lots of bars and other exotic places were seen but we went and had a drink in a chilled out wine bar.
The next day the English girls left and I got up early to head to tung Chung to see the big Buddha. Unfortunalty thry were doing maintanance work on the sky cable car so I had to tale the coach but still saw an abundance ir lakes and mountains covered in mist and clouds the view was spectacular. Finally I reached the Buddha and from afar it looked amazing...and it was afar becsuse to get to it you had to climb alit if stairs, but after some huffibg and puffing i made it snd the statue was definately worth it. There seemed to ve a lot of people flapping incense sticks about and with no signs in sight as to why I can only guess it was to make the air smell good although It was quite possibly a seep spiritual meaning.
I made my way back and in the form met a canadian girl called Enabong who was doing a round the world trip. We made friends and decided to head out if the town with the intention of not drinking this however didn't go to plan and after finding a friend i met in Shanghai and a live band bar it turned out to be s pretty awesome night and actually very cheap as Enabong had a knack of getting free drinks.
My final day i spent in a ladies market and bought a t-shirt and pretty good haggling got a red bracelet down from 70 hkd to 20hkd we found a street that just sold bags and bags if different fish it was mental fish everywhere and frogs. Had an easy night due to my early flight, looking forward to India.
Inventory - 97% due to t-shirt and bracelet. See you in Mumbai
