So, day two...and ALICE IN TWENTEEN!! (big boo to all who forgot...including certain un-named family members!!) We all arrived yesterday night and found our hostel pretty easy!! As far as hostel's go, i think its ok...milly and abby may need some persuading...i mean, we have an en-suite..in the land of the traveller that is bloody luxury!! Up at 7am today (!!!!) to head over to the acropolis (apocolypse comes off the tongue so much easier)..was cool, although covered in scaffolding so didnt really get tos ee much. Looked good on the way into Athens last night though cause it was all lit up and pretty! Then we went for a drink..then we went to the sight of the first ever olympics..that was wierd..thinking off people competing there all those of years ago!! Is so hot here at the moment, so we headed back to our (luxury) hostel for a kip and later we are going to head out for some dinner to Monasteraki...maybe indulge in a few pieces of baklava mmmm. Tomorrow we are leaving for Lefkada at 7am and its a 5 hour jouney. Tobes is meeting us there and Sarah is arriving a little later! Can't wait for the sea..and apparently its see-through like in Thailand...so good!! Must go, but mucho loving, and keep writing. Thanks for all your birthday emssages too, much appreciated xx xx
