OMG its a long time since I wrote this up!! So much has happened so bare with me and it will be a couple of days til I am completely updated!! Whilst I am in Sydney at the moment, I am actually going to write up my little adventure that was Vancouver. In my last blog, I wrote up my trip around Alaska, and then I moved on to Canada. Myself and Amy were on the same flight and sat next to each other, and watched the first sex and the city!! Planes are always better when you have a great movie to watch!! We got to the airport and I met Sharon!! It felt like a lifetime since I had seen her last even if it was only a month!! Sharon took me to my hostel (The Cambie) which was a little grim but ok I guess!! We went out to dinner at Kitsilano, a gorgeous beach area. The best thing so far about vancouver was the weather!! It was warm!! No snow and cold like Alaska, even though it was evening I did not need my ski jacket to remain alive!! Sharon had got me a little arrival present which I still love her dearly for!! It was a packet of custard creams, some bourbons and some walkers crisps!! OMG i never thought i would be so happy over some biscuits!! The next day I met Amy and we walked to the aquarium and saw some whales!! They were so amazing and then some dolphins jumped out right next to amy for the perfect picture opportunities!! We wandered around, went over to Gastown to see the steam clock and found a gorgeous cupcake shop and then met Jen back at her apartment. We went out for dinner at Granville Island that evening and then due to the beautiful evening we took a walk along the sea wall close to jens apartment. It was the night of the solstice so lots of people were out enjoying the beautiful weather. I stayed at Jen's that night which is gorgeous!! I am so jelous, i want to live in Vancouver!! Seriously I love this city!! The next day myself and amy went to lunch with Jen and then I said goodbye to Amy as she went on a trip to Whistler. I walked over to Science World and had an amazing time. I watched Tahiti Wave on the large screen and got to release my inner child with all teh games and activities!! So much fun!! That evening I went to dinner with Jen and then we went to a Chocolate Cafe for dessert. They had flamenco dancers performing so we stayed for a while, they were incredible!! I even bought a cd of their music. The next day (my final one in Vancouver) I walked across the city and across the sea wall on the northern end. I walked past the convention centre and then into the centre as i was meeting Sharon for lunch. I got to see her very swanky law office before we went for a quick meal and a good bye (although i vow to return to vancouver as i loved it so much!!). I had dinner at Jen's before getting a cab to the airport!! There were far to many goodbyes on this day!! I got to the airport in preperation for my ridiculous 12 hour flight to New Zealand...and the rest I will try and write up soon!!!
