Well I am in Roatan, and it is sooooooooooooooo hot!!! OMG, it feels like I am melting!! That first night in Copan, we went to a couple of bars and had a few drinks, did a few shots whoch were so nice!! Why do shots at home always burn my throat, yet here they just make me want to have more!! Whilst I was in Copan, we went to the ruins, which were amazing but I am starting to get a little sick of Mayan ruins, but they are all different so was nice to see that changes! We got to see the different temples and the palace, and also to see how some of the colours that were used to decorate the buildings are still there!! After that we went for lunch and then went to some hot springs! It was like a day of repeats for me, but these hotsprings were a lot different to any others i have been to. Firstly the main hot springs were in a swimming pool and so hot that i could barely put my feet in!! So we mainoly went to the river, which was equally hot although there was a cool current so made it bearable!! We then had a Honduran bbq for dinner, which was absolutely amazing!! Probably some of the best food i have had on my trip so far!! We had to get a pick up truck there and back which left some bruises but at least it had seats unlike the pick up truck in Santiago!! We left the hotel at a ridiculous hour of the morning the next day, and got the bus towards Roatan. The bus journey was ok apart from people being sick next to me, until we got taken off our bus and put in a little minivan (which brings memories of dom and lauren!), to the bus station. When we got there we found out that our bus was not going to get us to the ferry in time for our boat, so we got cabs over to the ferry. I was with Emilia and Scott and minus an annoying driver we didn't have any problems. The other cab however had 2 flat tyres and then had to get a bus and another taxi, but we made the boat!! I can see wat Ana was talking about the boat making people sick, it was very wavy and whilst i was fine, most of the group were not!! Wen we got off the boat we got a van to the hotel and then went for a nice meal at a seafood restaurant, expensive but I had the most amazing tuna steak, so not complaining too much!! I didn't really fancy snorkelling the next day so instead myself and Emilia got a water taxi over to West Bay (we are staying in West End) which is an incredible beach!! So pretty, with fine white sand and clear blue sea!! I got a slight burn across my shoulders but that was to be expected really!! We met a Canadian guy who was a little bit stuck up, but we also met a local who suggested we go to a local bar/restaurant for dinner called Barefeet. It was amazing. We had the bbq and quite a few drinks. I then started dancing with one of the locals, who talked us into going to an "after party", so myself, Emilia, Kevin, Dawn and Sandra went to this guys house where we drank rum and then they tried to make us go swimming by jumping off a pier, which kevin did and said that the water was quite shallow. Also by this point i was quiite drunk, so swimming would hav been a bad idea!! Instead we came back and got some sleep!! We are not doing much today minus lounging around the pool and it is so so so so so hot, so i may just be sitting in the pool not next to it!!
