hey guys,

I got to Sydney on the night bus on Monday night and have had a really busy 2 days here. On day 1, I looked around the city centre in the morning and then met up with Aislinn who I havn't seen since America in week one of my travells. She's been living and working in Sydney so she took my for a walk around the place to get my bearings (although I'm not convinced she really knew her way either). We visited darling harbour and then took a (very expensive) ferry on a route that toured us around some nasty industrial bits. It then started to bucket with rain, but we managed to make it a good trip and it was awesome to catch up.

Today I emt up with Fenn who is now also in Sydney and we packed the day full of stuff, shopping for hours on Pitt Street, then walking to harbour bridge, the opera house and finally the botanic gardens. Its pretty surreal seeing the opera house, its much bigger than I expected-many photos were taken!! Walked for about 7 hours today so I'm having dinner out tonight then a well deserved rest.

Really like Sydney, its nice being back in a city, but I'm already missing the weather and the chilled out beach life coz its a bit hectic and I keep being barged out the way which I'm not used to. On the upside, you can get some awesome sushi!
