HI EVERYONE!

Thanks for all your messages! Nice to see that we are missed!!!

so update so far....

we arived in Bangkok at ridiculous o'clock and were greeted by a very nice lady...so far so good...once we arived in the city however i thought that we had been dropped off at the wromg plce! The place was riddled with garbage and lots of people. Our hotel was hidden behind a shack and we both thought that was where we were staying!

then to make matters worse OUR BOOKING WAS CANCELLED! I thought ali was going to burst out crying but i kept my cool! all of the other hostels in the area were fully booked and it was too late to travel anywhere else! Finally after a lot of arguing with the receptionist we were given the key to our cest pit...oops...i mean room.

Now ill pass onto Ali...

okay well the romm was't that bad! just a few bugs in the bed!

Rob was a little stressed at this point so i sugested that we went for a drink- always does the trick! we sat in a small bar in the middle of all the hustle and bustle and pretty rapidly downed them!

all chilled now we explored...........some sights that we encountered....

here goes...........

lady boys (and they were definately men!)

cockroaches eating rubbish

ping pong shows (we didnt go in, im waiting for rob to get up the courage!)

an elephant lying in the street (we got to stroke it! was amazing)

all in all has been eventful and its only day one.off now to see some sights.
