Ice Ice Baby!!  Glacier hiking is awesome!! Pretty extreme really, crevices and caves to get through, ice steps, the danger of random ice collapses, genius. We started off in town, i say town but franz josef is really a couple a holiday camps and hostels and a supermarket and petrol station, at the agents where we were given our hiking boots socks and waterproof jackets and spikes.  After a 5 mintue drive we were at the carpark set off point ready to go ...

So Christchurch is awesome, a cool little city/town i could easily live in. We didnt really do much there but it was good to stay with Hannahs friends and eat some home cooked meals and get some rest before heading off into camper van related activities. We took a drive out to the mountains with our hosts and checked out all the views from above the city, they were crazy awesome, arguably better than oz due to the size of the lakes and just the sheer impressivene...

So I am now in New Zealand, slightly cold yet so far awesome New Zealand. But before i get into that, lets talk about Melbourne. Melbourne was absolutely fantastic! apart from all nations hostel in the city that is, that place is worse than a s##t hole! (pardon my language). So what has al been up to recently......... due to high amounts of rain i have frequented the cinema alot, 4 films in 7 days, it killed some time and was pretty fun to be fair in the giant cinema complex in sydney. i went along to the aquarium on one said rainsoaked day as there was nothing else i could think of doing that involved being inside, so off i went and ended up spending nearly three hours wandering around looking at the fish, and i have to say it ...
