After spending almost 2 weeks exploring the Eyre Peninsula with its amazing coastline, farming communities, 'Misery mountain' and Anxious Bay, we have arrived on the edge of the nullarbor at Ceduna. Alf has been able to celebrate his birthday here with a seafood treat and we've caught up on washing and shopping ready for our trip across the nullarbor (meaning a 'treeless plain'). The weather here has actually been quite cool and windy - min 14 to max 24 degrees! We thought we'd be sweltering in 40 degree summer heat!

We hope to be able to try an alternative outback route via the 'old highway' which then joins the main highway at the border. Looking forward to crossing into WA
