We don't always have reception or radio coverage while traveling, so it was a surprise to us when we arrived in Alice Springs that all of the caravan parks were full for the next week due to the long weekend and the annual Desert Finke Race! Back into the red dust again on the Tanami Road to Alice Springs - 1055km! We have now 'officially' completed our 'lap' of Australia - even though it started anti-clockwise and is finishing in the other direction. We drove in to Broome for a few hours to complete the circle and spoil ourselves with a coffee at Cable Beach, and I had a wonderful swim while Alf changed a wheel on the car!
