Hiya, Well had a really nice couple of weeks. Been on 2 trips. The first being a 4x4 self drive camping trip on Fraiser Island. Basically you were put into groups of 10, given a tent, jeep, map and off you went! No guides to show us where to go or what to do just left to our own devises. My first thought wa, nice one, let me behind that wheel n trash the hell outta that jeep going off roading!! Was well hard to drive as all the island is sand so were skidding about all over the place (and as you know, i love skidding about it cars!) Unfortunatly we had a set of muppets in our group, especailly the two canadian birds that moned at everything and took ages to get ready in a morn so we ended up missing out on some of the sights as due to the tides you can only drive on the beaches at certain times. Was still good fun though, went to some amazing fresh water lakes where you could see little turtles swiming. On one of the nights we got talking to these Ozzies that were camping at the side of us so had a game of cricket with them and guess who got the most runs... Me!! I said thought you ozzies wa meant to be good at cricket one of em said yeah n you english are meant to be crap!! Was a good laugh. After Fraiser we had a 11 hr drive upto the Whitsunday islands. I lost my voice by the time we'd got there cos had roxette n boy jovi on all the way n we'd been singing our little hearts out! Anyways once we got there we boarded our catermaran an sat sail round the gorgeous whitsunday islands for 3 days. Loved it although on the 2nd day the weather was s***e! Didnt stop us from snorking though. Also saw some dolphins swimming near to the boat. Really was a nice trip. Were now stopping at Airlie beach for another night as met up with Ling and Cat from the Africa tour then slowly making our way upto Cairnes. Meeting up with Shellie next week then her and i fly to Bali on 28th Feb. Cant wait! So thats about it from me, ill be in touch again soon, Love to everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
